I LOVE this.. thank you for all the wonderful confessions πŸ’• You've really helped me clarify what that burning question is that I need answered.. the reason WHY I am writing my book! πŸ‘ I look forward to working on the full proposal in the "incubator" later this month ☺️ x

Thank you so much for this. Today, and not for the first time, I wrote that I write because I must. Just like breathing and eating, I must write to more fully live my life. I am 66 drawing very near to 67 and have wanted to write since I was a child. I am just now finding my way forward. I can’t wait for the book dream experience.

Yes to this! It’s as good a reason as any and perhaps the only reason that really matters ❀️

Your work resonates so deeply with the truth of my own experience too, Beth. So grateful.

AND I hope you practice radical self-compassion and loving kindness for yourself too!!! When I read this: "You might think β€œWell if you’d done a bit more around publication day you’d have made that list”"

I thought, "I wasn't thinking that, perhaps this is Beth's own Inner Critic..." and I was sooo happy to then read, "but maybe I did the most that I had the capacity to do at that moment in my life, as I launched a book about grieving my mother, and administered a large dose of forgiveness to myself." Three cheers for the art of extreme self care, radical self-compassion, and profound loving kindness towards oneself first, which we can then naturally extend out towards others.πŸ₯³πŸΎπŸ₯‚πŸŽ‰ βœ¨πŸ§šβ€β™€οΈπŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈπŸŒΌπŸŒ·πŸŒˆπŸŒΊπŸͺ·πŸ’•β˜€οΈ πŸ˜ŽπŸ’ƒπŸ•Ίβ˜―οΈπŸ₯°βœ¨πŸŒŸπŸ’–πŸ™πŸ•ŠοΈ
