Subscribe now to let me know if you think I should begin a Substack on writing and life? I'm talking light and shadow, joy and sadness, untold secrets and behind-the-scenes, all of it.
Thank you for the words you share here on Substack. I have signed up to many of your courses and have found them to be deeply helpful and thoughtful.
You have inspired me to start my own Substack which I had intended to use to share stories of creativity and opportunity and which is turning out to be a little darker than I had planned but I'm interested to see where it goes. Thank you for helping me to find the confidence to do it at all.
Yes please! I have admired you so much whilst following your Summer Sanctuary program. I have a copy of "The Way of the Fearless Writer" too. I'd love to join the Winter Sanctuary program this year. Thanks to you, I was confident to write and present a eulogy at my father's funeral in August. Your teaching helped me to find the words I needed. Thank you.
Best news ever. The world needs more positive news like this, now more than ever. Your writing is so refreshing and uplifting. Welcome Beth, I’m looking forward to following your Substack journey.🌟
The long answer is you will find an amazing opportunity to grow a community of people who are willing to give to help each other. Your writing will be the centre of something truly special as you put your work out into the world. That writing will get a life of its own as people comment, like and share. People with gather around your work like moths to a light.
But it’s much more than just your Substack. You will meet amazing people who will become friends, collaborators and supporters.
This really is the future of the internet right here.
It’s so lovely to hear you’re going to join Substack. I miss the blogging years too, miss that creative outlet, that freedom to write, create and imagine a life less ordinary. Those first two sentences in your post today are me, right now! Hankering after a a creative life, it’s like an itch that just will not subside!
You have taken a leap of faith to first think of starting a substack and now you have written a post on Substack about what you love. All these signals are enough to jumpstart your creative life. One thing that's exceptional about Substack is that your voice is your voice and there isn't any competition. Readers want to hear your unique life experiences and who you are. When I started my newsletter, I realised that I have to be my authentic self so I can enjoy what I love doing. So far, the journey has been fulfilling and involves learning from both writers and readers. And true, you are in the real home, all with your soul, mind, and heart. I write the Startup from Africa, about African problems and possibilities. Welcome
Oh, it's so lovely to see you here, you have inspired me to write (not quote fearlessly...yet) and to explore different styles. Can't wait to read your words here 🙂
Well.....seeing you have what? 80+ likes, 50 comments and 10 restacks on a first post asking if you should....damn woman: This is it! While I have a lot more trouble getting things going here, there is no doubt on being in the right place. It is a true writers community....welcome...
I must say that you are a bit low on ‘reads’ and advice you to subscribe to some very diverse fellow explorers....;)
Of course! 💙
