I am quite surprised that my favorite exercise was the Haiku! I am now going for a beach walk to integrate it. There are three weeks every year that are THE most stressful work weeks of the year as those are board meeting weeks. Usually I drop dead and am unrecognizable for the few days following those weeks. This week: not only did I keep up with the extensive homework, but it gave me peace and energy to do my "real work." That is a CLEAR sign to me, that this book wants to be written. I am feeling inspired, grateful and excited for what's next!
I've been off Substack for a while and just catching up! I realise I've missed the access to the mini How to get a book deal mini course. Is there any chance you could forward this on to me please.
I’m sad that I didn’t find this sooner. I’m new to substack and still figuring it out but I would have loved to participate in this. I hope there will be another one.
Oh I have a dream… a book about my journey through grief - I lost my 51 year old husband to cancer last year. I want to write the book I needed this time a year and a bit ago: honest, raw, sad but full of love and joy too. Just like life.
What a wonderful surprise to wake up to this morning! Thank you, Beth, so very much. It's an important, and potentially pivotal, day today, so this is profoundly fortuitous.
I'm really looking forward to the Book Dream Incubator, so many, many thanks again for all you do, all you are, and, of course, for this...
My book has become such a collaboration, and has taken on a life of its own. It feels a little like the Northern Lights - it's always there, in the background, some days hidden, and other days it dances and sparkles in all its wondrous glory. Thank you for your part in breathing life into my dream...Nx
Hi everyone, I just felt I had to share this with you. Somewhere within this wonderful SoulCircle, I wrote down a prompt from Beth to write a journal entry for five years from now as if you had actually lived it. I thought I’d give a go. Thirteen pages later and an incredibly aching but happy right hand, was my soul dream in vivid technicolour. This was a dream that I’d had some 25 years ago that was long forgotten in the mists of parenthood and living in different countries. I believe now that this will come true. And the reason I say this is down to writing your dreams down and revisiting them. My husband I and I have a Book of Dreams which we revisit every 6 months to a year. We noticed at the end of last year that our dreams for our family were on there way to being manifested. Except there was something missing: my writing. There was no mention of it! So I am committing to the 2029 Journal Entry to come to fruition. As Kevin Costner said “if you build it, they will come”.
Thank you Beth for helping me unearth this sleeping dream.
I’d say it’s coincidence that I stumbled upon this but as I don’t believe in coincidence, it looks like the Universe is giving me and my book dream a shove! 🥰
Thank you for sharing . I have written a book but I’d love for it to be translated into other languages . I don’t have the funds to do this so finding someone interested would be really helpful …
And I didn’t know that sort of keyboard existed . How wonderful for a minimalist traveller like me .
You should never have to pay for it yourself. If you can get a book deal with a foreign publisher they pay for the translation and arrange distribution. This is one of the many places where an agent can be super helpful ❤️
The Book Dream Incubator is more about nurturing a book dream in the beginning to shape it into a pitch although there is an opportunity to ask questions about things like getting an agent. My Book Proposal Masterclass (which is a more in-depth course run in collaboration with my own literary agent) goes into it in more depth but won’t run again until May 2025. The details for that are at dowhatyouloveforlife.com ❤️
Oh Beth this could not come at a better time. I do have a book dream, not the one I thought it would be, this one feels a little dangerous and riske, but necessary somehow. Will keep an eye on your soul circle announcements xx
So much looking forward to this! I have a manuscript that is patiently waiting for me but desperately needs dusting off. I’m currently getting back into my writing with the Fearless Writer and the Monday prompts. I also plan to take part in the Autumn Light sanctuary starting 15/10. I know I read it somewhere but I can’t seem to find it: when does the book dream start? Thank you! Cx
👏The Book Dream Incubator starts on October 21 at a gentle pace of one lesson a week with lots of spaciousness (because that’s what delicate dreams need). Autumn Light is self-paced so you could do a week, take a break and finish up in November, or do the, side by side if you can make time Xx
Actually it was from the stationery company Kikki K which has since gone bankrupt in the UK. They still operate in Australia but changed their collections often so probably don’t make it anymore, sorry!

Many thanks - have a lovely Sunday!

Beautiful.
Giveaway.
Might I enter with this reply?
My Soul loves to write.
My dyslexic brain not so much.
I'm curious though, what my gut happen, if combined the two?
Surely that's a powerful combination?
Haven't thought of that before?
Nice.
I say I'm a dyslexic mystic.
I'm definitely a retro girl!
Thank you for the fabulous opportunity. 💜.

My book has been gestating for a long time. That’s ok because now I am ready for it to be born! Thank you Beth 🩵

Shall I subscribe to you to learn how to do this ?

Please would you share the details of the affirmation card deck that you have? It sounds exactly the thing I’m looking for. Thank you!

Not to worry, thank you anyway. Btw absolutely fell in love with Japan this summer!
Thank you for saying that all our books are valid.
My pleasure. They are ❤️
