There are no guarantees there will be a tomorrow which is why living fully in the present is the best way to celebrate this precious gift of life. And this, for your consideration:
Flying for 7 hours tomorrow to visit with my husband to see his dying brother. A long tiring journey we are blessed to be well enough to take so I won't moan. And we need to see him before it's too late.
Living in the moment is the only way for a life of true contentment. Yes we do have to plan etc., but it’s when life hits us like this that we realise, life and love is now, this second, breathe it, love it, love them. 💕
I lost my brother last year. He was 43 years old, much too young. My heart still skips a beat every time I think of it, like a record player scratching at the same spot over and over again. It’s hard to move on from the disbelief. My life continues, yet a piece of my heart is still stuck in the call. This piece captures those feelings beautifully. Thank you for sharing. 💙
So profound and resonating...striking chords through my soul like ripples upon a windy lake...somber...yet settling deep in my heart...so sorry for your loss...prayers for everyone
Carpe diem. There is nothing more important than time with those you love - our children remember when we were present for them not the presents. Live now for tomorrow is not promised 😢. Thinking of you xx
Oh yes. We must hold our darlings. Tell them of our love. Fix the schisms that we couldn't bear to be our final memories of someone we've loved. Thank you for this beautiful, thought-provoking dip into mortality, Beth. Sending solace.
❤️😭 Felt it all, thank you ❤️
